– Drink plenty of water in the 48 hours before your appointment — aim for at least
1.5–2 litres per day.
2. Lifestyle
– Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and heavy meals for 24 hours before treatment, as these can
slow lymphatic flow and increase water retention.
– Avoid intense exercise, saunas, or steam rooms on the day of your appointment.
– Please arrive with clean, product-free skin (no lotions or oils).
3. Medical & Suitability
– Inform your therapist of any changes to your health or medications since your last
session.
– This treatment is not suitable after recent surgery, or for clients with medical
lymphoedema, heart conditions, cancer, or severe circulatory disorders.
– A consultation will be carried out before your first session to ensure it is safe and

After Your Treatment (Post-Care)
Following your Lymphatic Drainage Massage, you may feel lighter, more relaxed, and notice
an increase in urination — this is a normal sign that your body is releasing excess fluid and
toxins.
To support your results:

– Continue to drink plenty of water for at least 48–72 hours after your treatment to
help your body flush out toxins and waste.
